Meet Stephen Lucas, the Principal Solicitor of Kingston Lawyers. He commenced practise in 1995 and has enjoyed a successful legal career. Stephen commenced work as a sole proprietor in 1997 at age 22. Stephen then acquired various firms including:

Kingston Lawyers was founded on the belief that a law firm should be long standing and enduring beyond the retirement of lawyers. Kingston Lawyers now holds more than 10,000 Wills and important documents for clients.
During his career Stephen has practised in most areas of dispute resolution in commercial, criminal and private law including family law. Stephen acts as a barrister and solicitor and has been involved in many hundreds of matters in a successful career.
Stephen has enjoyed mentoring many young lawyers some of whom now hold very senior legal positions. Stephen has published articles on Estate Planning, Family Law, Commercial and Wills Disputes. Stephen is active in the community providing pro bono advice to a number of worthy charities.
Outside of law Stephen enjoys spending time with his family. Stephen enjoys most sports and also reading case law and history.

Jake Harris
Senior Associate
Meet Senior Associate Jake Harris, an integral member of the Kingston Lawyer’s team since January 2019, offering expertise in Wills, Probate and Estate Planning and Estate Management. Jake has also competently handled many Court cases involving Will disputes.
Jake holds a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Arts from Deakin University, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law.
Jake brings to our team a detail-oriented and analytical approach. His methodical approach to practice ensures structured and dependable guidance in legal matters. What distinguishes Jake is his commitment to understanding each client’s unique circumstances, and providing advice that is not only technically sound but also empathetically delivered, ensuring a stress-reduced process for his clients. Jake maintains a courteous and respectful disposition, focusing on the timely resolution of legal matters with an awareness that attaining positive outcomes is often of the essence.
Angela Richards

Meet Angela Richards, Kingston Lawyers’ Conveyancing expert with over 25 years of experience. She joined the Kingston Lawyers team in 2013 bringing with her a wealth of knowledge in residential, commercial and off-the-plan transactions.
Angela understands that buying and selling your home or property can be stressful and will be with you every step of the way to ensure that your electronic settlement is smoothly completed.
Angela’s leadership and positive attitude is not only displayed in the office but also on the tennis court. Angela also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Lori Weare
Assistant Conveyancing Manager and Trainee Solicitor
Meet Lori Weare, our Assistant Conveyancing Manager who has over 24 years of experience in conveyancing. Lori is a qualified conveyancer having completed an Advanced Diploma of Conveyancing and is currently studying a Bachelor of Laws. Lori can assist you with all your property transactions and support you through what may seem like an overwhelming and stressful period, with her positive and friendly demeanour.
Outside of work, Lori is a devoted mother to her two children, Sienna and Tahj and adores her gorgeous ragdoll cats. Lori enjoys spending her free time running, paddle boarding and jet-skiing.
Katarina Martinic
Solicitor
Meet Katarina Martinic, a diligent professional steadily making her mark in the real of criminal law and intervention order matters.
Katarina has a long history with Kingston Lawyers having completed work experience with us in 2015. Katarina then went on to graduate from Monash University with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Arts where she majored in Criminology and Human Rights. She has undertaken one year of supervised practise under our Principal Stephen Lucas.
Katarina has experience in handling cases involving IVOs, family violence, traffic offences and sexual assault matters. Katarina has also worked in estate litigation, family law and employment law. Being multilingual and able to converse in Polish and Croatian, Katarina is able to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele.
What stands out in Katarina’s approach is her innate empathy and understanding, a trait grounded in her diverse background and refined through extensive experience in customer service roles.
Outside the courtroom, Katarina embraces a healthy lifestyle through tennis and running, and has a penchant for exploring new places, which amplifies her understanding and respect for diverse cultures and perspectives.
Tali Miller
Trainee Solicitor
Meet Tali Miller, our Trainee who is currently completing a Double Degree of a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Property and Real Estate at Deakin University. Looking to diversify her experience in all sectors of the Law, Tali is eager to grow her knowledge and skills to explore where her potential specialty area is. With her previous experience in hospitality management and executive assistance, Tali is keen to apply her admin and customer service skills to her role, bringing a level of understanding to clients through her background in support work.
Outside of work Tali is an aunty to two nieces and a nephew, and loves spending time with her growing family.
Enya Lucas

Meet Enya Lucas, our Trainee who is currently completing a double degree of a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Criminology at Monash University. With a background in hospitality and customer service, Enya is eager to further develop these skills and is eager to expand her knowledge of law for her future career.
Enya has a profound commitment to making a positive impact on people’s lives and hopes to achieve this through her journey in legal studies. Enya is particularly interested in the areas of Family Law and Criminal Law but is excited to expand her knowledge of and exposure to many different areas of legal practice at Kingston Lawyers.
Beyond the workplace, Enya enjoys travelling, going to the gym, reading and spending time with her loved ones.
Reika Yoshikawa
Trainee Solicitor
Meet Reika Yoshikawa, our Trainee who is currently completing a double degree of a Bachelor of Law (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Criminology, minoring in History) at Monash University. Reika has an interest in different areas of law and looks to extend her overall knowledge and experience in the legal field. Through her experiences in customer service and business administration, she hopes to provide a unique perspective to assist a diverse range of people in the legal system.
Apart from work, Reika enjoys travelling, reading, and playing the guitar. She also likes to keep herself active with activities such as Taekwondo, Pilates, or going to the gym.
Victor Wang

Meet Victor Wang, our Trainee who is currently completing a double degree of a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance from Monash University. Victor is eager to expand his knowledge of the legal profession and assist in matters across various legal fields.
Drawing from experiences in education and hospitality, Victor hopes to bring a compassionate approach when helping clients, as he endeavours to develop the essential legal skills and practices that will contribute to his future legal career.
In his spare time, Victor enjoys going to the gym, travelling, playing sports, and spending time with family and friends.
Zac Dunphy

Meet Zac Dunphy, our Trainee who is currently completing a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at Monash University. Zac is planning to expand his studies next year by transitioning into a double degree in Law and Commerce, majoring in Finance, to deepen his understanding of the legal and financial sectors.
With a broad curiosity across multiple areas of law, Zac is enthusiastic about gaining hands-on experience in a variety of legal disciplines. He values the opportunity to build a versatile skill set and is eager to uncover where his strengths and interests align within the field.
Zac also has a passion for sports, supporting the Hawthorn Hawks in the AFL and the Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA. Outside of work, he enjoys going to the gym, running, watching sports, and spending time with his friends and family
Sienna Weare
Trainee Solicitor
Sienna has recently concluded her Year 12 studies and is excited to study Law in 2025. Sienna is eager to gain a wide variety of knowledge in all practice areas of Law, and is particularly interested in Criminal Law.
Drawing from her past experiences in hospitality, Sienna brings an empathetic approach to communications with clients and aims to make a difference in individuals lives whilst helping them through difficult times.
Outside of work Sienna enjoys going to the gym, spending time with her friends and family, and supporting the Carlton Football Club in the AFL.
